Christmas and New Year were busy at The Mill but they are now ancient history and we are looking forward to greeting you all in 2010. The great news is that despite the best efforts of the Chancellor, increasing VAT, we are maintaing our fantastic 2 course, £7.97 lunch offer until at least Easter.
Tickets for our third "Second Thursday Comedy Club"on January 14th are selling fast.
The first Wine Club dinner on 5th November was a winner with a tutored tasting of four excellent glasses of wine and a delicious three course supper for only £24.95, if you missed it there will be another on Thursday 28th January, don't miss it, the last one was excellent.
Disabled access improved at The Mill
We now have a ramp into the building with a stairlift to all three floors and a dedicated wheelchair friendly loo. However please call us before you visit us if you have any concerns as to whether we can meet your needs. For instance if you use a wheel chair you will need to be able to transfer to the stairlift chair to use the loos or visit other floors.

The Mill at Rode is situated on the edge of the historic village of Rode (Please click Rode History for more details) on the river Frome, within a short 20 minute drive of the city of Bath and close to the important market towns of Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster and Bradford on Avon. It is surrounded by its own beautiful grounds and wonderful rural Somerset.
The Mill at Rode retains the character of its industrial past including the waterwheel, which can still be coaxed into turning. This wonderful building has been sympathetically refurbished, rendering a more modern, contemporary feel including a relaxed bar and dining area, ideal for socialising or meeting colleagues and clients. The Mill at Rode has earned a great reputation as a venue for weddings and special events and in addition offers full conference and meeting facilities, including free wireless broadband access throughout the building.

The layout of the mill has been specifically designed to allow the different areas of the building to be used as separate spaces for different type of events or the spaces can be used equally well together for larger events.
To have a look at the different areas of the mill you can click the navigation tool above or any of the building areas in the top navigation bar. This will give you a better idea of the facilities available in the different areas of the building.
